“Clifford Barton is a beautiful venue to get married at with stunning views wherever you look, and a really tranquil vibe. We married under the Bridesmere Bridge which overlooks the pretty lake surrounded by lush green Devon countryside. The sun shone, wild flowers bloomed all around and for us it was a perfect day with our 29 guests.”

“Beautiful venue with flexibility to host the wedding beside the lake, under an open fronted barn or in the main wedding barn. Venue owners remain flexible so that choice can be made relatively last minute. It is an all weather venue. The Caban in the woods was wonderful for the bride and groom to have their honeymoon suite away from it all but remain close to family and friends.”

“Gavin and Vicki work tirelessly to ensure that things run smoothly and offer different seating, benches, tables, hay bales, games, fire pit, endless fairy lights and are on hand which is reassuring. The bar options worked well and the caterers had no problems running the kitchen from a catering tent placed at the back of the barn. To be able to book accommodation for 20, then in addition have bell tents available was amazing. A wedding and a relaxing holiday all in one.”

The location, in a tranquil Dartmoor valley with a lakeside canopied bridge 10 min walk away along a country lane within the grounds of the property where the ceremony was conducted and with a beautiful barn for the reception was perfect.”

“The owners Gavin and Vicki were so accommodating ensuring that the bride and grooms wishes were carried out wherever possible and it was lovely to have them around on the day to help out. The holiday accommodation alongside the barn was beautifully `appointed for all ages and a pleasure to stay in over the weekend. It was really useful to be so close at hand to help with the set up and clearing up and made the weekend run so much more smoothly.”
