It’s your special day and at Clifford Barton you have the freedom to fully personalise your wedding and create the wedding of your dreams: your choice of caterer and suppliers, and a high level of flexibility in how you use the spaces available.

You can choose to get married overlooking the stunning Bridesmere Lake surrounded by nature and wild flowers – or between two huge oak trees in beautifully tranquil ancient woodland.

We aim to create a relaxed, bespoke and highly personal experience. At Clifford Barton Weddings, we offer a range of options for you to tie the knot, from making a full weekend of it, to a private ceremony with just the two of you – and everything in between.

You have exclusive use of the venue including its three historic cottages for the entire weekend, from noon on Friday to Monday morning. Including Bell Tents, we can accommodate up to 32 of your nearest and dearest in stylish on-site accommodation. It’s so rare to gather all of your closest friends and family into one space, and with the whole weekend at your disposal you’ll be able to fully relax into and enjoy the extended experience with your friends and family.

If seeking to make your lifelong promises to each other in an intimate gathering, without the fuss of an extended Reception – from just the two of you, perhaps with several of your closest people, or a more populous gathering of up to 40 – Clifford Barton Weddings offers an idyllic, nature-filled private wedding space for you to tie the knot and spend quality time (up to 5 hours) celebrating in the serene setting of Bridesmere Lake.

If you like the look of Clifford Barton but want to limit your celebration to one day, our mid-week Day Wedding might be perfect. Have the most romantic of ceremonies on Bridemere Bridge or Twixt Tw’oaks, and then enjoy a Wedding Feast and Reception in Swallow Barn.
