New for the 2028 season Clifford Barton Weddings is offering mid-week Day Weddings. for couples seeking to tie the knot in one of Clifford Barton’s beautiful Ceremony spots, celebrate with post-ceremony lakeside drinks and have an afternoon’s Wedding Feast and Reception in Swallow Barn.

Perfectly tailored to couples looking for a relaxed Wedding day, focused on a unique Ceremony and Reception, some early evening entertainment – perhaps a First Dance – and carriages at 9pm. Any live music is acoustic-only, but you’re welcome to play a playlist on our in-house PA.

Please see Weekend Wedding pages for more information on Ceremony locations and Reception spaces. The only difference is that a Day wedding takes place on a Wednesday and no on-site accommodation is available.

Our Day Wedding package includes:

Use of 3 licensed spaces for the Wedding Ceremony: Bridesmere Bridge, Twix Tw’oaks, and the Corn Barn.
The use of Swallow Barn, the Corn Barn and surrounding areas for your Reception – including lawn games, table tennis, corn hole, table football and giant Jenga.
Stretch Tent with bunting and fairy lights.
Festoon lighting and fairy lights on the lawn outside Swallow Barn.
Exclusive access to the ceremonial and reception areas from 9am to 9pm on the wedding day.
We provide and staff a well stocked, reasonably priced pay bar for the wedding day, including a Canoe Bar for lakeside post-ceremony welcome drinks.
All bar glasses, champagne flutes, wine glasses, water glasses and water jugs.
Wedding Planning advice and support throughout the planning stages and co-ordination and support during the wedding weekend.
Off-grid Love Nest for the for the newlyweds on their wedding night until 11am on the following day.
Rustic trestle tables and benches for your reception with chairs for the top table.
Chairs, benches and signing table for your Ceremony.
Firewood for the fire pit and woodburner.
Car parking for your guests, with a member of our team to welcome guests and get them safely parked.
We offer pre-purchased drinks packages that our team can serve following your Ceremony. These include a discount on bar prices. We can also supply drinks tokens or arrange a bar tab.
If you prefer to bring your own table wine for the Wedding Feast and Fizz for toasts you are welcome to bring your own, at a £10 corkage charge. We will take delivery of, store, chill and serve your wine/toast fizz.

Pricing

The cost for exclusive use of Clifford Barton and its grounds for your Wedding Day is £5,500 for 2028 (inclusive of VAT).
